Dell is Cheap

Published by at 12:12 pm under Technology

I received my new Dell yesterday. It’s my third one, and none of them have shipped with a piece of network cable. All I ask for is a cheap three-foot Cat 5 cable with connectors. Is that really too much to ask for? Not everyone uses wireless network technology.

Well, you always could go buy some cable πŸ˜‰ lol I’ve got a ton of little network cables like that sitting around that are just collecting dust–it used to quite common for companies to throw in cables with everything it seemed (except for printers of course).

I thought you were on my side. πŸ™‚

After spending hundreds of dollars on a PC, I shouldn’t have to spend a buck or two on a patch cable at another store. The only things that include them are actual network devices… modems and routers.

lol I was being sarcastic πŸ™‚ I agree with you. They could have, at least, included a network cable–like you said, it’s not like they cost THAT much to throw in.

I just bought four new network cables. Two 3-footers and two 25-footers. I’ll be good for the foreseeable future now. πŸ™‚
