eBay

Published by at 1:23 pm under Personal

Kudos to eBay for lowering listing prices lately. They’ve had 3-4 sales in the last two months and it really helps. I find myself more likely to list something if I can do either for free or for a reduced price. eBay still gets you when something sells, of course, but every penny I can save is a win for me.

I put up over 20 DVDs today in order to get rid of stuff I wasn’t watching and to bring in some much needed money.

I haven’t had any success with my job search. The job with IGN is still there, but with the economy the way it is, my responsibilities and paycheck have been cut back substantially. I envy those of you with full-time jobs.

Glad to hear eBay reduced their fees! I haven’t used the site in awhile because I kept losing money instead of making money. I guess the posting price reduction is, at least, something.

Sorry to hear about your job search results so far. My bro has been out of work for about a year–and only now has he found something. This economy just sucks. Me, I’m working my butt off at my job with–just like you–increased responsibilities and less pay than I had before. The newspaper I work at has had to cutback lately. I feel you there. But, then again, the job I have IS full time. That does help a bit. I wish you the best of luck in your search 🙂

I’m glad to hear you’re hanging in there. I’ve had a couple of interviews, but nothing materialized from it. I’ve got another interview on Friday. I’m more hopeful about that one. Interviews are nerve-wracking for a guy who has never had an actual job interview before. 🙂 I haven’t done as poorly as some, I’m sure.
