My Chiropractor is a woman, so my adjustments aren't too bad ;)
Most of my problems are in my neck, though. My back does get a bit sore for a couple of days after adjustments sometimes, when it shifts more.

The adjustments may not be fun, but they're a lot better than having surgery later on... surgery doesn't help most of the time anyway.
